First Update and Devlog
April 9th Update
Hello and greetings, my name is Robert Smith one of the developers and main programmer to work on this project. I wanted to make a quick post to talk about changes in this update and what is being worked on for the next update. In this update the hover car was switched to an improved mesh and we've also been working hard to make the basic gameplay loop playable.
Coming Up
In the next update, Acceleration and Speed stats are functional and have received an initial balance pass for their scaling. Handling of the hover car continues to be tweaked in order to reward skillful piloting. In addition the system that generates the order of levels continues to be improved closer to it's goal of providing a roguelite experience where the choice of each race matters. A little further out, I hope to bring AI and actual races into the possible events adding variety besides one lap Time Attacks.
